Day trip to Barcelona: discover the city of Gaudí

Departure by coach from Canet early in the morning. After a journey of approximately 2 hours 45 minutes from the end of the pick-up, a 30-minute break at a motorway service station is scheduled for your comfort. Arrival in Barcelona around 10.15 am, where you will enjoy a comprehensive guided panoramic tour to discover the city’s most beautiful sights: the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Camp Nou stadium, the National Palace, Montjuïc hill and the 1992 Olympic venues, not to mention Las Ramblas and the old port.
At 12.00 pm, you will have some free time to explore the city at your own pace and have lunch as you wish. At 4.15 pm, meet your coach for the return journey to France.

Departure from Canet-en-Roussillon at 6.25 am. After a 2 hour 45 minute journey, arrival in Barcelona is at 10.15 am, followed by a guided tour of the city, starting with the Sagrada Familia (exterior view) and then on to Gaudí’s creations: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. We’ll pass through Plaça Catalunya before heading to Montjuïc Hill, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Barcelona, and then return to the city centre for a guided tour of the Gothic Quarter.
At 1.15 pm, you’ll have some free time on Las Ramblas where you can have lunch.
At 4.00 pm, you will board the bus again to visit the Citadel Park and the Arc de Triomphe.
Arrival in Canet-en-Roussillon at around 7.30 pm.

The coach departs from your town early in the morning. After a journey of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes from the time all passengers have been picked up, a 30-minute break at a motorway service station is scheduled for your convenience.
Arrival in Barcelona city centre around 10.30 am. You will then have around 6 hours of free time to explore the Catalan capital at your own pace: stroll through the El Born district, explore the Gothic Quarter with its many pedestrian streets and cathedral, wander along Las Ramblas or the old port, and let yourself be charmed by the city’s iconic landmarks.
At 4.00 pm, meet your coach for the return journey to France.

The coach departs again at 8.00 pm.
Arrival in Canet-en-Roussillon around 11.30 pm.

Day trip cruise: exploring Cadaqués and Rosas
=> Excursion to discover Cadaqués on Tuesdays from 14 July to 28 July 2026
Set between the sea and the mountains, you’ll enjoy this excursion, which takes place every Tuesday (departure at 7.25 am) in July only. The coach will pick you up in Canet-en-Roussillon. From 9.45 am, board the Blau De Roses in Santa Margarita to sail along the fabulous Bay of Rosas, heading for Cadaqués. You’ll be able to admire the many coves and landscapes that have made the reputation of this beautiful rocky coastline, the Costa Brava.
In Cadaqués, you’ll have 6 hours of free time to explore the village, stroll through the flower-filled narrow streets and discover this little white village made famous by Salvador Dalí. You’ll have free time for lunch.
Around 5.00 pm, head to the boat to return to Rosas. At 7 pm, you will board the coach for the return journey to France. Arrival in Canet-en-Roussillon at around 9.30 pm.

Departure from Canet. A panoramic tour of the town of Empuriabrava, also known as the ‘Catalan Venice’, with its many canals where boats are moored in front of their owners’ homes. Boarding at Santa Margarita at 9.45 am aboard the Don Pancho to sail along the stunning bay of Roses towards Cadaqués. From the boat, you can admire the scenery and the many coves that have made this magnificent rocky coastline famous. Upon arrival in the small village of Cadaqués, you’ll have 1½ hours of free time to explore the Church of Santa Maria, stroll through the flower-filled alleyways or enjoy a refreshing drink on a shaded terrace.
Return to the boat and head towards Santa Margarita, then board the coach back to Rosas. Free time for lunch and a stroll through the small shopping streets. Board the coach at 4.30 pm and head to the “Gran Jonquera” shopping centre. One-hour stop to finish your shopping, then return in the late afternoon.

Day trip to Carcassonne: cruise and visit to the medieval city

Visiting Carcassonne is, first and foremost, a journey into the past, taking you back 2,500 years… Perched atop a hill, the medieval citadel overlooks the entire town and is said to be one of the best-preserved medieval complexes in the world. Come and discover this jewel of our history and stroll through its charming streets and alleyways. It is a true immersion in the Middle Ages.
Departure by coach at 8.05 am from Canet-en-Roussillon towards the Aude valley. The journey takes 1 hour 15 minutes once all passengers have been picked up. We will stop for a short 30-minute break at a motorway service area for your convenience.
9.45 am Arrival in Carcassonne. Free time in the medieval city. Let yourself be carried away and lose yourself in Europe’s largest fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at your leisure.
Return to the coach at 1.30 pm, heading to the small port of Carcassonne for a guided boat trip of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes on Pierre Paul Riquet’s masterpiece: the Canal du Midi.
Return to the coach at 4 pm and return to Canet-en-Roussillon at around 6.30 pm.

Le Petit Train Jaune day trip: in the heart of the Catalan mountains
=> The Little Yellow Train excursion every Thursday from 9 July to 10 September 2026
Set off to discover breathtaking landscapes aboard the Petit Train Jaune. The excursion takes place every Thursday from July to September, departing from Canet-en-Roussillon at 6.40 am.
Depart by coach from your town to Villefranche-de-Conflent, where the Petit Train Jaune awaits you for a 1 hour 15 minute journey. With a history stretching back over a century, featuring engineering marvels, tunnels and stretches running close to the rock faces, the ‘Canari’ will allow you to admire breathtaking scenery all the way to Mont Louis – La Cabanasse station.
Continue by coach for a short journey to the citadel of Mont Louis, with free time for a coffee break, then on to Font Romeu (our department’s flagship ski resort), the spectacular Odeillo Solar Furnace and the Spanish enclave of Llivia. Lunch at your leisure.
Return to the coach and descent to the Roussillon plain, where you can enjoy these beautiful mountain landscapes from a different perspective, along with the main engineering structures (the Gisclar and Séjourné bridges) over which the little yellow train travelled earlier in the day. Short stop at the town of Villefranche-de-Conflent and return to Canet-en-Roussillon around 7 pm.
